Already almost centuries of the image in desert Nazca do not give rest to scientists and do not cease to attract attention of the public. Drawings have been found in 1939, thanks to appeared aircraft then and in the beginning the fortieth, the first serious research of geogliphs was engaged the German archeologist Maria Rajhe, the devoted her life to their studying. Researches of geogliphs are proceeding up today. There are a lot of Versions of an origin and mission of images from racetracks of natives, to the space center of newcomers. But the desert continues to store its secrets and four basic questions – «who?», «what?», «how?» and «when?», remain still without the answer.

About drawings in desert Nazca, about the multikilometre straight lines made with improbable accuracy, knows likely everyone, but far not all imagine true scale of this phenomenon. In the early nineties on plateau Palpa which is situated in ten kilometers from Nazca, thousand similar strips, lines and drawings have been opened. As well as in Nazca on plateau Palpa the overwhelming majority of images is made by strips and lines. Several years ago, in a southern part of plateau Nazca, the Japanese scientists have found the whole complex of lines and drawings, also earlier are not known. They are located in thirty kilometers to the south of the basic file of Nazca images. More than of hundred lines, geometrical figures, first of all triangles, some drawings of animals and the persons are revealed. Despite of relative affinity of arrangement new geogliphs are perceived, as separate, though they belong to one civilization. And completely not many people are ready to consider all images, as a uniform complex. Meanwhile the area, which is densely enough filled with geogliphs, identical on style of execution and other parameters makes, as a minimum, 40 х 40 km., and the distance between two the most remote objects makes not less than 75 km. Presence of obvious general moments characteristic for all images covering the area more than 1500 sq. km, gives the basis to assume, that geogliphs represent it selves the certain uniform system constructed by certain principles.

Researches in this direction are strongly complicated with that circumstance, that, despite of more than semicentenial studying of this outstanding monument of ancient people till now, there is no neither the full catalogue of Nazca drawings , nor a detailed plan of its arrangement. During years of researches scientists have plotted some sites of the central part of the plateau, nearby to the river Inhenio valley where the majority of drawings of animals and birds is concentrated. Here is that speaks by this occasion Andrey Zhukov: « … Till now there are no the detailed maps displaying all picture of this area geogliphs Americans by means of air photography made detailed enough maps -schemes of that part of Nazca plateau where figures of animals well-known to everybody are represented . But detailed plans of all Nazca complex and furthermore, Palpa plateau there are no till today. Pilots of tourist planes tell, that practically every year they find on a plateau new, earlier not known geogliphs. But the pilots are not researchers they are not engaged with fixing of again found images. Scientists of small archaeological missions from other countries which for last years sped up the work are engaged with it ». In a such situation studying of phenomenon of Nazca and Palpa by means of space photographing, perhaps, is the most accessible authentic method. It is possible to estimate Nazca geogliphs in their whole, using the space pictures of Google, which range resolution, allows, with certain accuracy, of course, to make decoding of the majority of large geometrical figures, lines and some drawings. Images, visible on satellite pictures of Google Earth program which can be identified with confidence as geogliphs are a subject of the given research.

The range resolution of pictures, with sufficient reliability allows estimating only some characteristics of elements represented in desert. It is possible to define only the element form, length and width of lines, their extent, distances between elements and a direction, with good accuracy i.e. an azimuth.

All the elements represented on both plateaus, can divide into four basic groups – the centres, the lines, the geometrical figures and the drawings. And the centres in all this composition obviously play the major role, and contrary to a popular belief, not the centers are formed by crossing of lines, but lines connect the centers which thus co-operate between themselves. In quantitative expression the overwhelming majority is made by lines, which by different estimations are not less than 12000. Much less geometrical figures and only about percent from the total number of images make drawings which can be identified. Each group in its turn can divide into some kinds.

LINES.

The general sign characteristic for all this line is straightforwardness, more precisely, straightforwardness on separate quite often, in certain point’s lines change their direction. There are also straight lines with the extent of 14 and more kilometers. Extent of the line with the sufficient accuracy can define only when it connects two or several elements. In the most of cases the terminations of the most stretched lines in the dried up deltas of the rivers and among traces of modern activity are lost. In such cases line continuation is possible only in a direction which, as a rule, appears a direction to the centre or one of the elements. The fact, that lines are washed away with the dried up channels of the rivers, partially allows to answer a question «When have been put geogliphs?» – before these rivers were formed.

In width lines differ considerably enough. There are lines in width less than meter, and there are lines in width more than ten meters. There is also the quantitative hierarchy depending on width. The more widely the line, the less there are of them and accordingly if it is the more narrow the more there are of them. It gives the basis to assume, that in a possible system, wide lines play more important role, and narrow ones are auxiliary or have an other information loading. In the greatest quantity lines in width of 1-2 m. are represented. They, as a rule, are binding between the elements, designate directions and form images on small sites.

For creation of lines and drawings, the stones, which have darkened on the sun, were moved aside, forming accurately visible borders and baring light yellow sand under them. The dry deserted climate, constant winds and small tornadoes, gradually blowing sand from the cleared away plots, increased depth of lines. Therefore, geogliphs eventually do not disappear with currant of time and are in a constant regime of “self-support”.

Directions of lines are various, but are not chaotic. As it was already told, lines connect two or several elements, co-operating «on a way» with other elements. There are not enough lines, going to «in anywhere» and the majority of them designate a direction. Points in which the line breaks, direction changes the direction or is crossed with other lines, as a rule, are designated. The understanding of these moments has considerably facilitated search and identification of geogliphs since to the direction of this or that line a new group of images practically always had been found. This fact is one more argument in favor of a hypothesis about uniform system.

FIGURES.

The geometrical figures represented in Nazca, have mainly triangular or trapezoidal form, and visually remind arrows. All figures differ by the size, appearance, a corner of convergence of the long sides and the direction which definition, apparently, is their basic function. The sizes of arrows are various. There are present giants, in length of more than 1.5 km and small arrows in length of all some tens meters. The main amount is made by the figures which length lays in a range 300 – 700 meters.

 On appearance geometrical figures can be divided into two principal kinds, peaked arrows of the triangular form and trapezoid, with the “cut off” sharp corner. Meet, as well, the combined figures uniting in themselves both of kinds. In the most cases arrows “are painted over”, i.e. their internal space differs by color from external one and a way of drawing, most likely, is similar to the way of lines drawing. But some figures, basically these are wide strips, which are formed only by lines. In the most cases figures are crossed and imposed on each other, being grouped round the centers. Among trapezoid figures numerous rather numerous group of arrows, on appearance reminding a shrimp is allocated. These figures in its narrow part are two well designated points and some beams are the lines dispersing from them in certain directions.

There are also the unusual figures differing from others on appearance and the way of their drawing. In the first case, these are, basically, wide strips of the complex form, formed by broken lines. More often such figures are met in a southern part of Nazca desert, where there is more sand, and a surface is less stony. It is similar, that images of these figures have been created by gathering of nearby stones on a contour line of geogliph. In the second case, images of figures are formed by unusual way hitches or small groups of stones. There are also absolutely unique elements. Not so long ago on plateau Kakhamarkilya, it is in 130 km. from Nazca a strange the strip, has been found by width almost 20 meters and length one and a half kilometer, consisting of thousand hitches hollowed in rocky breed. Nearby from this place, in five kilometers to the east, there is one of ancient inkies cities – Tambo Colorado.

 The greatest figures, are as a rule, the trapezoid form, have the accurate borders, the cleared away internal space, and the main, thing contain one or some good distinguishable points – the centers, around which other figures are grouped and by beams, in certain directions, lines disperse.

DRAWINGS.

Images of zoomorphosical figures of animals and birds are the most known, though they are represented in the least quantity. Some tens in total. It is possible to distinguish more or less distinctly only the greatest of them from satellite pictures. It is obvious, that drawings also play a definite role in the general composition. Actually each image, anyhow, co-operates with other figures. Drawings are crossed with lines, incorporate to other elements, and some “arrows” are focused to them.

 THE CENTERS.

As it was told above already, it is obvious that the centers formed with small groups of stones and consequently looking on space pictures as points are a basis of all complexes of images on a plateau of Naska and Palpa. More often the centers are located inside of geometrical figures, but there are such ones around which directly figures themselves settle down focused on the given center.

All centers can be divided into three big groups conditionally: the Centers located on the sharp ends of trapezoids (as a rule, they are pair ) the centers lying inside or on border of the obtuse terminations of geometrical figures and the centers around which figures are grouped figures, being guided to them.

These three groups simultaneously are, as corresponding levels of importance, certainly, conditionally.

It is possible to carry the centers around which geometrical figures and lines are grouped to the first level. As a rule, these points are well designated and often are connected straight with lines. Such centers are least- about hundred.

It is possible to carry the centers located in the wide ends of “arrows” to the second level of importance, As a rule, they also are well visible and often have the nearby figures focused to themselves with which sometimes are connected straight with lines. Such centers are more – about two hundreds.

To the third, most numerous levels, it is possible to carry pair points on the narrow ends of “arrows-shrimps”. Such points are hundred and actually every narrow trapezoid is supplied with a pair of “eyes” from which one or several lines-short moustaches designating, most likely a direction of action of the given figure.
